Not everyone is interested in buying a home or residence. There are many reasons where it makes more sense to rent rather than buy. New residents may want to survey the area and pick the right neighborhood and there may be another home out of state that has not yet sold. There are also times where a  job  may require a  location transfer in a time frame that may not make it a good economic  decision to buy. And then there are those that feel it is better to rent than buy. 

I'm here to help those of you that are in need of a rental, in Zephyrhills, Dade City, Wesley Chapel and San Antonio.

It makes sense to rent:  In today's unstable economy it makes sense to rent rather than buy:

• Renting can save money- with high taxes and insurance you can live in a home that would cost more to buy
• Homeowners tax deductions are overstated with interest and taxes many don't qualify for a tax deduction because it does not exceed the standard deduction of $10,900 for couples
• There are more options available for renters
• Renting gives you more flexibility - if you have to move because of a job transfer you are not saddled with having to sell a home, it takes approximately five years to break even when buying.
• It has always been said that when you buy you gain the appreciation each year to make  up for any repairs that may be necessary. In todays market that it may not be  the case. Recent reports indicate that the average home price has declined 5% in the last twelve months. So if you paid $150,000 for a home last year it's more likely that that home today would be worth $142,500 today. You do not have that risk if you are renting. Waiting for the market to stabilize maybe your best financial stratergy in todays market.
